REQUIRED PERSONAL INFORMATION


Each person who registers on the ASTRONRILL.COM website is required to provide their Email address. We require this information so that we can contact our Member users. In addition, all Member users are required to provide their full Name, including at least their first and last names, so that we can enter the same in the Roster of Permanent Members at astronrill.com maintained by Dr Milind Narendra Ovalekar, and thereby establish their placement in the Priority Queue for Outer Space Missions. Thus, this information will help the Members establish their identity. We require members to select a secure password to ensure that they are the only person who can control their personal information.

OPTIONAL PERSONAL INFORMATION


In addition to the required registration information, members may optionally provide additional information about themselves, which is accepted by our administration as having been posted in good faith. This information is accessible only to the member and to administration.

THE MANNER IN WHICH WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


Any information that the member provides on this site, whether their name and email id, or any optional details, is accessible only by the concerned member and by the ASTRONRILL Administration. It is not publicly accessible, either by other members of astronrill.com, or by the public Internet at large. Your Name enters the roster of Permanent Members maintained by Dr Milind Narendra Ovalekar, and establishes your placement in the Priority Queue. Any notifications we send to your email id will be service messages only, and as such would be extremely infrequent. If at all we are goaded by the Members into starting a regular Newsletter, there will be an opt-in mechanism for this process at that later date.

UPDATING OR REMOVING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


You can change your Username and/ or Password at any time. Please note that the Name that you provide us is the exact Name that we will enter in the Permanent Register at astronrill.com; that it is INDELIBLE, and it cannot be edited. Hence, please enter that information very carefully. The optional details can be edited, or entirely deleted, by the member at any time. We will NOT remove your Name from the Permanent Register, it stays there for the length of your life. Furthermore, your membership on astronrill.com too is your life-long entitlement, that you should not even think of terminating, since it involves no further monies on your part. However, if a quirky request of this nature is made to us, and we confirm that this is indeed a valid request made by the Member on at least three consecutive occasions, then we will terminate the profile, albeit with great reluctance.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


We will not share your email address or password except (a) if it is for the purpose(s) you provided it; (b) with your consent; (c) as may be required by law or as we think necessary to protect our company or others from injury (e.g. in response to a court order or subpoena, in response to a law enforcement agency request or when we believe that someone is causing (or about to cause) injury to or interference with the rights or property of another); (d) with other persons or entities with whom we contract to carry out internal site operations or our business activities (for example, sending out a product or a promotional item that you have requested); or (e) notifying you when we make changes to one of our terms of service, this policy or other user agreements.

While at present astronrill.com merely sends important service messages and notifications; when we do commence a regular Newsletter, the member will have the opt-in option to receive this regular communication. Our site will not knowingly accept personal information from anyone under 18 years old in violation of applicable laws. We have taken commercially reasonable steps to restrict use of this site to those who are at least 18 years old. The Astronrill Permanent Registration is meant for purchase by adults only, or with adult permission.

Please remember that the only Cookies set by astronrill.com are the strictly necessary ones, that these are anonymous, and that these only involve the facilitation of your on-site session and data analysis.

Thus, there are the Drupal 7 “session cookies” that prevent you from having to login multiple times in one browser session; and these are automatically removed when you leave our site. 

Another form of strictly necessary cookie that we use is the third-party Google Analytics cookie that collates information about how visitors use our site, in order to enhance the visitor experience on our site. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. These cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.

 

SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY OF YOUR INFORMATION IN THE EVENT OF A REFUND

In case you seek a refund within the 60 day period after your online payment, your name and email id will be deleted from our records, with all due care of secrecy during sound execution of the commercial process. Since a refund can take place only within 60 days from the date of purchase, your name has not been entered into the Permanent Register at this stage. Thus, your information will still be carefully protected and kept entirely confidential even in the event of your seeking a refund. 

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Though our setup at present is pretty basic and incapable of the following detailed acts requiring extensive and professional technical knowledge, keeping in mind an augmented setup at a future date, ASTRONRILL.COM reserves its rights to collect, analyse and disseminate aggregate site usage patterns of all its visitors with a view to enhancing services to its visitors, [hopefully sometime sooner rather than later].
